Today’s treats!

So yesterday someone made a comment about the gaffers soup 😂. anyone that knows, or has ever tried her soup, knows how good it is. I’d go as far as say you’d struggle to find better.

So as expected, I turn up this morning to an absolute mound of things to put on special. You’d think she took it personally or something! Getting up at 4am to prove her point.

Rule 101 of hospitality and catering…. You can’t please everyone. Our job is to make consistently good food. Well try tell Jake that!!! You’ll end up with 30 litres of soup, 40 pastries, and a rant to take with you!

So today we have:

Lentil and ham soup
Chicken broth soup
Apricot danishes
Custard and almond danishes
Pain au chocolat

And whatever else I find she’s made on her mission to be the best soup makerer in all the land!!

Hoping the power of Facebook can help us contact “Lesley Masterton” from Carnoustie.

A parcel was found in the carpark today at the park. So hoping to return it to her.

Failing this, we will have a drive through and deliver it ourselves, but hoping to contact her before they reorder or something 🙂

We are open today!

Probably not one of my better ideas to open today……. but here we are!

Realistically I won’t be here all day, 1/2pm ish.

We get asked on the daily how we make our chilli…. We know it’s the best around 😉 but here’s an insight into my weekly task (sometimes 2 or 3 times weekly)

We cook our onions fresh every morning….

5-10 fresh onions, soy sauce, garlic, salt, pepper and some secret ingredients all cooked with extra care and love!!

That’s what makes them so tasty ❤️
