Starter or Dessert?

When you’re eating out, which do you prefer to accompany your main?

Are you a starter person or do you make sure to save room for a dessert?

Or don’t go all out and choose both?

Here at The Thorn, it’s not just about the food we serve or the drinks we pour… it’s all about the people who walk through our doors.

Whether you join us for a quick drink, enjoying a meal with family or friends, coming along to one of our events, supporting our quiz nights or simply popping in to say hello… YOU are what makes The Thorn what it is.

We are incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic community behind us as well as an amazing team of staff who works hard to make everybody feel welcome.

We genuinely could not do what we do without you and our amazing team of staff.

🍽️ VATS THE PROBLEM 🍻

We’re backing the call for a fairer deal for hospitality.

Pubs, restaurants and hospitality businesses are at the heart of the communities but the pressures facing our industry continue to grow.

We believe 10% VAT is fair for hospitality.

Lower VAT could protect our pubs, support jobs, keep prices more affordable for customers and give independent businesses like ours a better chance to thrive.

If you love your local pub and want to support the hospitality industry, please take a moment and scan the qr code and find out more.

Every bit of support helps ❤️

Let’s protect our pubs, Let’s protect hospitality.
