Anstruther Fish Bar is our family business (2003 - present) alongside our small fish processing company - Argofish, St Monans (Est 1980). Generations of our family have been fishermen from this area since the 1700s, so we like to think we know a thing or two about fish. By personally purchasing our fish directly from the boats, we can guarantee only the freshest, prime quality haddock goes in to y

our fish supper. We work hard to maintain our award-winning standards and are proud to announce we have just been crowned WINNER of THE SCOTTISH FISH ‘N’ CHIP TAKEAWAY OF THE YEAR 2019 and also Central WINNER of The Food Awards Scotland - Best Fish ‘n’ Chips 2019. A customer from France kindly gave us this beautiful artwork of Anstruther Fish Bar and the harbour and we were absolutely delighted to receive it. It is always special when someone takes the time to create something like this for us.

Whether you’re stopping by after a coastal walk, a round at Anstruther Golf Club, or a sea dip followed by the Cellardyke Seaside Sauna, there’s so much more to discover while you’re here too.

Spend the day exploring the harbour, browsing the brilliant local shops, visiting The Scottish Fisheries Museum, or heading out on the water with East Neuk Outdoors for kayaking, paddleboarding and coastal adventures.
