The Prickly Pear will be closing for refurbishment on Saturday 17th January.
We will be open as usual until then, with the exception of Sundays, as we thought most people would want a rest from a roast dinner after the festive period!
The Bistro will re-open after the refurbishment, under new ownership.
Selling the business has been a difficult decision for me but I felt the time was right, after I was approached, to let someone else develop the business further.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the local community for supporting the business since we opened in May 2024. Your custom has always been appreciated, and never taken for granted 🙌✨
I would also like to say a huge thank you to the dedicated team who have worked at The Prickly Pear.
They have been like a family to me, most of whom have been there from the very start. I am immensely proud of what we achieved as a team, taking the Bistro to the top of the rankings in the area and the fabulous reputation it has established 🌟
We are not certain of the exact date it will re-open, but it will take a number of weeks to complete the proposed works. This will be announced in due course.
During the next two weeks, we will still run our Steak Nights on Wednesdays but will not be having live music on the Thursdays.
For those that have a voucher for The Prickly Pear, I would encourage them to come forward and dine with us on or before the 17th January. For those that cannot do this, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange a refund to the value of the voucher.
