As you will see from the PowerCycle announcement we deeply regret having to inform you that Tubs Cafe is closing this Saturday. Unfortunately the cost of insurance, rise in costs and continued competition with the internet means that the retail side of PowerCycle in the current location will cease as of 1st August and as a result there will no longer be a premises for Tubs Cafe to trade. We want to say a huge thank you to our suppliers and customers for their loyalty and support over the last 3 years. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve amazing coffee and cake to you all. Ray, Edward, Isla and myself wish you all lots of health and happiness for the future.

***PLEASE NOTE***

We are so sorry but due to staff illness and staff annual leave we are going to have to close Tubs Cafe today. Our next day open this week is due to be Thurs 9am-2pm but please check this page before coming in just incase Ray isn’t feeling better. We are so sorry to disappoint but really appreciate your understanding.

We’ve gone cycling 🚵‍♀️🚵‍♂️🚵‍♂️ so we have limited opening hours in Tubs Cafe next week - 18th July to 22nd July. The fab Ray Redman will be pouring the coffee ☕️ and serving the cake 🍰 during his usual days in Tub (see below)

PowerCycle will be open for all your cycling needs as usual, Tues-Fri 9am-5.30pm Sat 10am-4pm

With the final bank holiday of the month upon us we just wanted to announce our opening hours.

Friday 26th - 09:00 - 14:00
Saturday 27th - CLOSED
Sunday 28th - CLOSED
Monday 29th - CLOSED
Tuesday 30th - open as usual

Illegitimi non carborundum

We are thrilled to announce we are back open following Tuesday mornings inconvenience.

The silly tea leave’s obviously had no taste and were lazy bums as they left yummy cakes and only took e-bikes! 😡

A big thank you for all the messages of support and a special mention to for the lovely flowers and card, very much appreciated.

The coffee machine is ready with beans and the is on the TV.

We look forward to seeing you back in the shop soon.

It is with a huge amount of sadness and frustration that we need to let you know of another break in at PowerCycle. At 2.45am a group smashed through our front door & stole a selection of E-mountain bikes among others.

The shop & Tubs Cafe will be closed from today for police forensics and we have had extensive damage to the front doors of the shop. We apologise to all our customers for the inconvenience caused but we will keep you up to date on our re-opening once we know more.
