What a weekend... ❤️
Last night I lay in bed with tears in my eyes, completely overwhelmed with pride after our Beyond Words event. I honestly can't put into words how incredible this weekend has been.
From the amazing bands and DJs, our hardworking bar staff, the music techs, BBQ team, hair braiding, face painting, glitter tattoos, stall holders, everyone collecting donations, and every single customer who came along to support us... every one of you played a part in making this event something truly special.
Last night, hearing people tell me how grateful they were and listening to the beautiful speech that was made for me was one of the most overwhelming moments of my life. I felt so much love, appreciation and gratitude. It's something I will never forget.
Looking back through all the photos from the weekend has made me realise just how many people gave up their own time, energy and talents, expecting absolutely nothing in return. Nobody asked for anything. Everyone simply wanted to help. That, to me, is what true community is all about.
What more could you ask for from a town? ❤️
This wasn't just a fundraiser. It was people standing together, supporting one another, raising awareness for autism, and proving that when a community comes together, incredible things happen.
From the deepest part of my heart, thank you. I simply couldn't have done this without every single one of you. You have all helped create something so much bigger than an event. You created hope, acceptance, memories that will last a lifetime, and showed exactly what kindness looks like.
I will be forever grateful to every single person who was a part of Beyond Words. Thank you for believing in it, believing in me, and most importantly, believing in the cause.
