Marv's on tour! 🚌

Join us on our day trip to visit both Two Flints and Indie Rabble breweries in the beer arches of Windsor! 🫅

Your ticket includes:

- Return travel (coach size dependent on demand!)
- Chubby's Bacon Bap & Marv's Lager for breakfast
- TWO brewery tours
- TWO tasting flights

Our last brewery trip sold out in two days, and this one is looking to be very popular too as our biggest ever event.

There will be time at the tap rooms, and the oppportunity to buy lunch from pizza truck man.

We are VERY excited to go and see these guys in their home turf, after having both breweries visit us for tasting events in 2025. You'll find Two Flints and Indie Rabble beers very regularly on tap and in the fridges at Marv's - so let's go and show them some Ampthill love!!!

New brewery for Marv’s!

Blackjack Brew Co. are brewing just outside the Northern Quarter in Manchester. Est. 2012, they produce beers ‘brewed with detail and steely eyed consistency.’

‘Our beers are a reflection of the British pub culture within which we grew up, where we discovered the unfussy, oak floors, & drinking beers we never forgot about. Now we brew those classics for the modern audience with modern technique & a twist of the future.’

🍻 Hinges - Irish Red Ale 4.6%
Strong malt and yeast profiles at the forefront, jammy red fruit and light caramel on the nose and a study, roasty malt-forward bite on sipping.

🍻 Aspin - GF Pale Ale 4.5%
Bright, light and fruit forward pale ale featuring resinous pine, zesty citrus and tropical fruit notes.

🍻 The Cream Line - Vegan Milk Stout 4.5%
Luxurious, creamy, smooth and completely dairy free. Notes of vanilla, milk chocolate and coffee. Subtle roasty bitter finish.

🍻 Electric Circus - Alcohol Free Pale Ale 0.5%
Bright citrus peel, tropical fruits, and a gentle balancing bitterness over a clean malt base.

In this week’s deliveries, a treat from the mighty - a very special and award winning Swedish brewery founded by brewer Henok Fentie and artist Karl Grandin.

‘Levon’ Belgian Pale Ale, 6.5% abv

‘Levon is assertively hopped and fermented dry using Champagne yeast. The yeast and hops in combination with a simple malt bill provides the beer with a quality of being rich in taste yet refreshing. Skål! - Henok’

We’ve only got a small case of this. 🍻

Pixie Brewing are a nano-brewery in rural Cambridgeshire, hand-brewing hop-forward beers made with passion and love.

On the night we will be pouring 4 exciting new brews:

Pixie Pils 4.5% Pilsner
Longest Green 4.5% Hazy Pale
The Beer 7.5% IPA
Incognito 10.5% Imperial Stout

Every beer will be paired with a carefully considered cheese (or two!) The brewer will guide you through a Pixie beer journey to remember.

Tickets limited to 14 as usual and sell out fast - these are beer tasting events where you can hear the brewer talk, meet new friends, ask as many questions as you like - or just sit back and be entertained and educated! Come alone, as a pair or in a group - you'll have a goodun!

An expertly guided South America wine tasting by Eze, with perfectly paired bites from the Marv's kitchen. An Ampthill match made in heaven.

Sip your way across the continent of extreme geographic contrasts - a 5 wine tasting led by Cambridge Wine Merchants in Ampthill's Eze, who hails from Argentina.

Tasting bites from the Marv's kitchen - as always, on theme and very very delicious. Chef Chris is buzzing for this one!

Join us for the first Marv's minibus adventure!

Meet at Marv's, and hop aboard for a journey to Braybrooke Beer Co, in Market Harborough. The home of award winning Marv's Lager!

Your ticket includes: return minibus from Marv's in Ampthill, bacon bap on the outward bus, full brewery tour, and a tasting paddle of the core beers.

There will be time to hit the taproom bar and the opportunity to buy your own lunch from the taproom's food truck if you like.

Tomorrow! Head over to Marv’s tomorrow at 6pm (Thursday 9th), for a catch up with Tobias - founder and brewer of .

We will be sampling some cans from his latest brews, including a thick tropical smoothie sour, and a very big double IPA 🤤. Samples while they last!

In true Marv’s style, there will be nibbles.

Always great to meet the brains behind the beers and meet up with other beer heads.

Nick and Dylan two of our in-house beer nerds will be manning the bar. 👯‍♂️
