🏦❤️ OUR COMMUNITY. OUR VOICE. OUR BANKING HUB. ❤️🏦

What a journey this has been.

Over the past months, we have seen something truly special happen across Ammanford and the wider Amman Valley. Communities, businesses, local councils, volunteers and residents have come together behind a common cause – securing a Banking Hub for Ammanford.

The work carried out by Ann Davies MP and her team to get us to this point has been nothing short of remarkable. Their commitment, determination and willingness to fight for our communities deserves enormous recognition and thanks.
Here at Capel Hendre Post Office, we have been proud to play our part in supporting this campaign. Together, we have gathered over 1,200 signatures on our petition – and the number continues to grow.

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to every single person who has signed, shared, supported and encouraged this campaign. Your support has shown just how important this issue is to our communities.

A special thank you must also go to Alan and Fred, who have volunteered their time on many occasions to walk the streets of Ammanford with me, speaking to residents, listening to their stories and gathering signatures. Your dedication and commitment have been incredible.

But this is not the finish line.

In many ways, this is the most important stage of the journey.

We now have an opportunity to show, beyond any doubt, that our communities need and deserve a Banking Hub. We must continue to come together, stand united and make our voices heard.

A Banking Hub is about so much more than banking.

It is about supporting local businesses. It is about helping older residents and vulnerable people. It is about access to cash. It is about face-to-face services. It is about keeping our town centre vibrant and ensuring our communities are not left behind.

That is why I am asking everyone to get behind the Ammanford Banking Hub Action Day.
Come along. Bring your family, friends and neighbours. Show your support. Stand in solidarity with your community.

Together, we can send a clear message to those making the decisions that the people of Ammanford and the wider Amman Valley must not be forgotten.
