Being a chef for over 26 years, coming from the Dorchester park lane, Hyde Park hotel Knightsbridge, Grosvenor house, Excelsior palace in Rapallo, Italy and 5 years on 7-star cruise ships namely Silversea and Seabourn, Allan believes in onl

y serving fresh, high quality and affordable meals. If you just want to pop in for your favorite sandwiches, popular lasagna, bespoke coffee, specialty teas and handmade cakes, Gusto will still have these served throughout the day. Gusto’s Fresh gluten free range will be growing and Allan will still be offering outside catering and private bookings. As always, if you don’t find what you want on the menu, Allan will gladly cook it for you since nothing is bought in, and everything is cooked fresh daily. Gusto caters to you and welcome suggestions for the menu. Being a family Bistro, we encourage learning through play which is why we have Magformers for kids to play with and let adults enjoy their meal in peace, but don’t say we didn’t warn you if adults start playing as well! Magformers teaches children mathematical concepts, hand-eye coordination, color and shape recognition.

🍽️ You can’t visit Seven by Allan and not try our Filipino Chicken Adobo.

This signature dish has a special place in our hearts as it’s one of the most famous dishes in Filipino cuisine.

😉 So we have to do it right.

Adobo comes from the Spanish word for “marinate,” which makes the chicken beautifully tender and packed full of flavour. 😋

We cook our Chicken Adobo on the bone in a stunning marinade of garlic, soy sauce, palm sugar, vinegar, peppercorns, and bay leaves.

🍚 Served with a generous portion of fluffy white jasmine rice.

It’s no wonder this is one of our most popular dishes (with customers and our staff!)

You know what we say. Always save room for dessert!

🤤 And today’s pudding of choice is our mouth-watering classic, Sticky Toffee Pudding.

You just can’t go wrong.

Our Sticky Toffee Pud is homemade (naturally) and has the perfect consistency to warm you up without being too heavy. It’s sticky, gooey, and will melt in your mouth.

🥄 To make it even more tempting, we drench our puds in warm butterscotch sauce and top it off with a scoop of our homemade vanilla gelato. 🍦

🍞 The most popular style of bread in the Philippines, Pandesal means “salt bread” and its origins date back to the 16th century.

Traditionally, Pandesal is known for its pillowy and fluffy texture with a slightly sweet taste, and is best served warm and fresh from the oven. 😋

👀 At Seven, we love Pandesal, and (like everything on our menu) we get our beautiful bread from the amazing Kasa and Kin - a contemporary Filipino bakery in the heart of London.

👩🏿‍🍳 We believe it’s all about the finishing touches that turns regular food into an unforgettable meal.

Of course, you need quality ingredients, an experienced chef’s touch, and a touch of culinary magic…but those little touches can take your meal to new heights. ✨

👀 Take our Pan-Seared Gressingham Duck, for example.

🦆 We use only the finest duck breast from butchers we know and trust, and carefully pan-sear it. Crisp and flavoursome skin on the outside and juicy, succulent, perfectly pink meat on the inside.

To make it easier to eat (and easier to enjoy) our chef slices the breast and fans it beautifully on a bed of Potato Anna and Carrot Puree. And just when you think it can’t get any better, wait till you try our mouth-watering Duck Jus - drizzled on top to give it that extra special finishing touch. 😘
