There are lots of different dining areas within Lucy's on a plate… the cosy front with its open fire and smaller tables is a little more ‘grown’ up … The 'Conservatory' at the back is perfect for those with families or a larger party. A little walled garden area at the back still has tables and chairs to enjoy the summer sun. We hold private parties (anything from 12 – 50 in both the Conservatory

and Upper Conservatory) Any excuse and we can promise to turn an occasion into a celebration. Lucy's On A Plate is perfect for informal entertaining with a relaxed and enjoyable environment and menus to suit

Nobody does it better....
What a glorious evening at Brockhole Visitor Centre
The Waterbird in all its fascinating and delicate glory...this amazing replica faithfully recreates the detail of the original waterbird from 1911... how it can fly I have no idea... at 35ft long with a 40ft wingspan and weighing 1000lb ..sadly it couldn't fly tonight ... but oh my the conditions were tremendous...look at that scenery and sky...Windermere at its absolute best.
