Wainwrights’ Inn was once a farmhouse, gunpowder factory managers house, petrol station and hotel. The varied history is matched by the variety of ale from local brewers and a few choice brews from further afield. Other refreshing beverages are available with a selection of wines and seasonal specialities for inside and outside all year round. For indecisive or adventurous why not seek the advice

of Gary aka The Curator of Ales in Wainwrights’ or Lisa who will be more than happy to recommend an Ale for you. Well we have a plan B, beer bats, try three ales for the price of one (pint) and get the best of both worlds!
