🔎 A grown-up game of “Find the…”! 🐶🚗🌸🎉

A little bit of fun, a lot of laughter and some friendly competition at our weekly Friendship Matters session, every Monday Morning!

From finding dogs and cars to flowers and celebrations, everyone got involved in our grown-up twist on a classic game. 💛

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves, sharing smiles and making memories together. 🥰

A lovely lunch of Sausage and leek mash, with sides, and Chocolate Cake with Tubby Custard for Pudding.

However, as part of the local community we recognise that Alvechurch Baptist Church are celebrating their 200th Birthday this year and in linking with their celebrations one of our Scarecrow categories will be:

📚✨ Creative fun at Friendship Matters today, running every Monday 9.45-1.00! ✨📚

Today our Friendship Matters group enjoyed getting creative and making their own bookmarks! 💕 It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, the different creative ideas and enjoying time together.

🥙🍲Lunch was a delicious chicken, bacon, mushroom and leek pasta bake with a side of veg, followed by Ginger Cake and custard.

We’re also incredibly grateful to have received funding from the Better Together Asda Foundation. 💙

A huge thank you to Abi, the Bromsgrove Asda Community Champion, who nominated us and helped make this funding possible. Your support means so much to our Friendship Matters group and helps us continue providing enjoyable activities, friendship and support for our local community.

Eggs at The Lounge

In light of the recent news relating to Salmonella infections, we just wanted to reassure our customers that we do not use imported eggs at The Lounge.

We use a local supplier Whittaker’s Eggs who are a family run, arable and free range egg farm from Stoney Lane, Tardebigge.

So you can continue to enjoy your eggs fried, poached or scrambled, with confidence 🍳 🥚 😊

Our Friendship Matters Group enjoyed a wonderful seated yoga session this morning, delivered by the lovely Rebecca from Ebb & Flow
Connecting body and mind through breathing and movements, followed by meditation for inner peace. 🧘 🧘‍♂️

👀 Eyes down for Bingo! 🎉

It was a fun-filled morning at Friendship Matters today with plenty of excitement as everyone got involved in bingo! 👀🎟️

After all the bingo action, we enjoyed a delicious freshly made quiche with a jacket potato and tasty sides, followed by a fabulous banana split for pudding! 🍌🍦🍫

A lovely morning of friendship, laughter, good food and great company. ❤️
