The first week of us trialing smaller size chunks of traybake went really well, you guys almost cleared us out and we’re so grateful! Lower on cost, lower on calories, but never lower on taste! Small enough to fit in after lunch, or to buy one for a friend 😘 please let us know in the comments if you want to see this size on a regular basis!

Our weekend cook is leaving for college and we are looking for someone to fill her shoes.

We aren't looking for a trained chef...but we are looking for someone that can cook several dishes at once in a commercial kitchen environment.

There will be some weekday working too along with the weekend shifts.

We’re growing our team at Little Owls Café…

Over the next few months, we’ll be saying goodbye to some of our lovely team as they head off to new adventures 🥹, which means we’re looking for someone special to join us.

This isn’t just a “job in a café.”

At Little Owls, we take real pride in what we do — from baking our cakes in-house, to creating a warm, welcoming space where customers genuinely feel looked after.

So we’re looking for someone who:
✨ Has natural people skills and loves chatting to customers
✨ Takes pride in doing things properly (not just quickly)
✨ Is happy to get stuck in — front of house AND kitchen
✨ Ideally has some cooking/baking experience
✨ Is flexible and available across weekdays & weekends
✨ Is reliable, with a strong work ethic and a team-first attitude

This role will be a mix of front of house and kitchen, so it would suit someone who enjoys variety and being hands-on.

Today Little Owls Café turns 7 🦉

Seven whole years of early mornings, late nights, laughter, stress, growth, doubt, pride… and every emotion in between. It’s been hard. It’s been amazing. It’s stretched me in ways I never expected — but I wouldn’t change it.

I’m so incredibly grateful.

To our team — past and present — thank you for showing up, for caring, for grafting, for riding the busy days and the quiet ones with me. Little Owls is what it is because of you.

And to every single customer who has walked through the door, ordered a coffee, bought a cake, recommended us to a friend, or supported us online… thank you. You’ve kept this little dream alive for 7 whole years.
