Life-saving Defibrillator installed at the Ramblers Retreat! 🫶🫀

We are so pleased to announce that the life-saving device is now live and available for emergency use for anyone in need in the area.

The Defibrillator is located on the front wall of the Ramblers Retreat, in the event of a cardiac arrest entry will be available 24/7 via the residential gate.

The amazing campaign was championed by lovely local residents, Angela and Alan Heath, after a remote defibrillator saved Angela’s life. We offer a huge thanks to a number of generous local community groups, including: Alton Amblers, Alton Running Club, Ramblers Retreat (Helen Smith and Gary Keeling), customers of the Bulls Head and all local residents that also donated.

Public access defibrillators allow everyone to apply immediate CPR to a person suffering cardiac arrest effectively with no prior knowledge needed. Remember to ring 999, the operator will give you access and advice to use defibrillator.

The Father's Day Breakfast! 🏆🥓 Definitely a breakfast for champions.

Let's get Father's day off to a great start with an extra large Father's Day breakfast. There's three slices of butcher’s bacon, two Dunwood Farm sausages, two fried free range eggs, grilled tomato, two hash browns, Staffordshire oatcake, baked beans and mushroom!
