​Outside catering is our thing and we can provide a host of foodie options, from fully catered events with our chefs cooking and serving your food, a casual buffet-style spread or even a basic DIY Hog Roast machine hire. Our ethos is all about sourcing local produce where possible for all our food, including our meat, freshly prepared salads and the ingredients for our delicious Paella. Essex Hog Roasts is run by master butcher Drew and his partner Kat, who has worked in food development for nearly 10 years. With our new canapé menu developed alongside local chef Dan Hull, you can be sure that your party is in the very best of hands.

What a weekend! 🔥🍽️🥂

What an absolutely fantastic weekend of catering for Essex Hog Roasts, topped off in the best possible way with the wonderful wedding of Alan & Anita at the Royal Burnham Yacht Club. 💍❤️

It was a real pleasure to be part of such a special celebration, serving up a feast for the happy couple, their family and friends.

The menu was certainly one to remember! Alongside a traditional hog roast and sizzling BBQ, guests enjoyed a fantastic selection including succulent sausages and burgers, grilled meats, herb-marinated salmon, chicken, roasted sweet potato wedges, colourful freshly prepared salads and a beautiful selection of canapés and appetisers – all freshly prepared and served with plenty of flavour.

And those canapés looked almost too good to eat… almost! 😋

A huge congratulations to Alan & Anita and thank you for allowing Essex Hog Roasts to play a part in your special day. We hope you had the most incredible wedding and wish you many happy years together. 🥂❤️

After a busy weekend like this, there’s nothing better than seeing everyone enjoying great food, great company and a great celebration.
