We know so many of you loved meeting Tequila in the cafe and seeing how he was growing. So we thought we would share his 1st Birthday today with you all and show how big he as got from that little fluff ball.

Hi everyone as most of you will have heard some of the rumors we thought we would put it straight and let you all hear it from us .
Our meter readings are sent over at the end of every month and then generated and sent to us with 14 days to pay the balance we owed half of the bill November billed in December and Decembers bill generated in January and the railway came into the cafe to speak to us on Wednesday the 14th of January asking for payment to be made by the end of the month (January) and that we would have a meeting on the 30th to discuss next steps if we failed to do so we got everything paid and up to date yesterday but on Monday they had called an emergency trustee meeting and decided to terminate our contract , this morning we were handed a letter and told we had until the end of day today to trade and a few days to empty our stock / equipment out of the cafe .
We have loved or time at the railway and want to thank each and everyone of you for all your continued support and custom we wish we were staying and will not be leaving Alston as this is our home now.
We wish the next tennants in the cafe and the South Tynedale Railway all the success for the coming season .
