The Mere Inn was refurbished and reopened in the summer of 2013 and continues to be a success in Alsager almost a decade on. We want to champion local producers and deliver exceptional beers & service in a welcoming atmosphere.

It might not feel like Whisky weather, but this belter from Bruichladdich, is light, smooth and utterly delicious. Matured in both Ex- bourbon and ex-wine casks, it delivers a rich, creamy mouthfeel. The grain character bringing notes of warm scones and barley straw. The American oak then adding a layer of sweetness with fresh vanilla, marizipan & coconut ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿฅฅ

Very excited about this weekend! Tonight Iโ€™m out on bass with my latest project Joy Diversion - The Joy Division tribute to play our debut Manchester show at the incredible Lionโ€™s Den, so canโ€™t wait for that. If youโ€™ve not seen us before, you wonโ€™t want to miss this! Then tomorrow itโ€™s lovely to have been asked to play Madeley Carnival for an hour from 1:50pm, followed by a pre-England game gig at the awesome Moorland Inn, Burslem. Finally, Sunday evening chilled vibes at the The Mere Inn, Alsager with a newly listed slightly later start time of 5pm. Thank you all for your support!
