🧊 THE ULTIMATE ICED COFFEE 🧊

In our opinion cold brew just doesn’t get the respect it deserves. It’s never been hot stuff though… like temperature hot… as the name suggests it’s brewed cold, and slow, so the ultimate cold coffee… maybe?

The less harsh brew, means a less harsh drink, it’s easier on your teeth and stomach with less volatile acids extracted, while it retains antioxidant compounds which are otherwise degraded with heat. Never mind the sweet, smooth flavour, bags of caffeine and zero calories!

Not too bothered about the healthy stuff, stick some of our new cold foam on top for an insanely delicious drink. Ditch the straw, drink through the cream, brrrrrilliant.

IT’S A PRETTY BIG DEAL

We’ve tweaked our menu a bit this week, which sees the return of focaccia bread to our sandwich menu. Not been a feature here for a while but we’ve been experiencing sourdough fatigue so thought we would mix it up!

This one’s a new addition/return featuring smoked salmon and egg with added avocado. It’s big, tasty and a bit messy to eat as all good things should be!

Always throw a salad in the mix at this time of year. This time we’ve gone for a classic - well our take on it anyway.

Chicken Caesar: dressed crunchy lettuce, sliced avo, chicken, cheese shavings and rocket. Topped with nuts and a boiled egg. Nice bit of toasted sourdough on the side. Add some prosciutto if you’re feeling cheeky.

Also made a few other tweaks to our menu. We’ll introduce more of that soon. 😊

Recently hosted a private party at our gaff. It went pretty well, so could do more…

If you’re after low-key vibes and a cosy atmosphere we’re offering exclusive hire of our space (after-hours) for drinks, food and general chills. For this birthday party we offered some coffee tasting, so if you’re looking for something a little different to mark a special occasion drop us a DM.

HAPPY DAYS

We feel very blessed to have been presented with a civic award by Alsager Town Council this week for our contribution to the place we call home. It’s even more humbling to know that we were nominated by some of you guys. 😊

It’s always been one of our aims to be “more than just a coffee shop” and contribute to our community. We’re lucky to have found a few ways to be involved and to have made some good friends in fellow businesses to help us achieve our vision.

We’re even luckier to have a number of independent businesses on our high street and really this award deserves to be shared by every one of them as we all work very hard to contribute to the life and character of our town.

Please continue to support our local shops and venues. Trust us, it means the world. 🙏
