It’s that time of the month again where the areas finest minds (and some not so fine but they can sup a canny pint) congregate in The Farriers for our Quiz of the Month.

Get down on Thursday for 7pm, there’s some good prizes and it’s always a laugh. We are a friendly bunch so come and meet some new people 😀

Unfortunately the power is off in half the village and isn’t anticipated to be back on until later this evening. If it doesn’t come back on in the next 30 mins we will be closed for the evening.

Let there be light!

Our frontage continues to be upgraded with a splash of paint, some flowers and new bench’s.

While at the back we are on the last lap with the new kitchen roof ready for the extraction system to be fitted.

Things are taking a bit longer than expected but with 25 years of hospitality owning experience we know that this is the most important part for the future. Get the extraction right to handle busy times, invest in quality kitchen equipment to deliver an amazing end product and finally employ the best staff to build a solid reputation, it’s a slow process but some things are worth waiting for.
