💔On the 16th November 2024 my amazing, kind, handsome, super- talented husband Ian, ( aka Husbando, Dad, Chef, Symo, Honeybunch, Babes) passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.

😭 There are no words

💞We started the business in 2011 and never dreamed it would become a full-time career. The business let us have the flexibility to be there for our kids and have the best fun doing what we loved.

🥰 Ian gave so much time to every single customer and prided himself on attention to detail and getting it "just right" for every person. We always said we added love to every cake 💖.

❤️‍🩹 Many, many of you started out as customers and became dear friends.

😥 Without Ian Heavenly Bakes n Cakes will no longer be able to continue. He was the creative force and baking talent who made every customer's creations come to life.

🧁This page will remain open for a while to allow our customers to share Ian's creations.

🕍 There will be a Celebration of Life held in St Mungo's Parish Church, Bedford Place, Alloa on
Sunday 8th December at 2:30pm.

❤️ Ethan, Imogen & I warmly invite anyone who wishes, to join us at Ian's celebration.

I have posted a picture of the last cake Ian made just 3 weeks ago.

👰‍♀️🤵‍♀️It was for our friends' wedding. The groom had ordered it as a surprise for his bride. Ian was sent several photos from the groom for inspiration and was given complete artistic freedom to create "something with teeth."

❤️This was the kind of order Ian loved.

A huge thank you to all our customers both repeat and new for all your support throughout 2023❤️❤️❤️

It's been a rollercoaster of a year with the impact of the cost of living affecting small businesses. We value the support each and every one of you has given us with your custom.

The ovens are now off, the last cakes of 2023 have been collected, and we are now closed for a much needed rest.

We reopen on Monday 8th January 2024, when we look forward to creating many more gorgeous cakes for you all❤️❤️❤️
