Dear Cafe at the park customers, we have sad news to share with you all.

Our community café will be closing on Friday 10th of May. Unfortunately, we can no longer sustain the financial losses of keeping the café open.
We opened the café while some of the Covid rules were still in place just over 3 years ago, but the world is a different place nowadays and our business model doesn’t fit.

We’ll be sad to see our two staff
members Drea and Erin leaving but hope they will move onto new positions and benefit from the experiences and knowledge they have gained from working in a community café environment.

We will especially miss you all coming in for a blether and bite to eat and hearing all your news. We’ll also miss our lovely café volunteers.
Perhaps in the future we can look at new ways of providing a warm, social space with a bite to eat, but for now we just wanted to thank you all for your wonderful support and hope you pop into the Centre for a chat or to take part in any of our activities.
The café is open for the next 2 weeks so make sure you pop in for all your favourites while you can and say cheerio to the team.
