We are looking for an experienced bar member for our busy Summer period.

You must be over 18 due to bar work and have front of house experience and ideally bar work experience.

This position will be predominantly Saturdays and also some Friday evenings, Sunday daytimes and holiday cover over the holiday period

If you are not available on Saturdays then this position won’t be suitable.

£wage is NMW plus share of tips.

Today we say goodbye to Evie. Her last shift behind the bar as she sets out on her new career as a qualified nurse.

Evie is our OG and been with us since we took over the pub 2 1/2 years ago. She’s been working shifts at The Summerhouse for 8 years and is part of the furniture.

It’s been an absolute pleasure having Evie as one of our team. She is loved by so many customers and will be missed by us all

It’s been a scorcher of a bank holiday weekend 🫠

Our team have done us proud and worked hard in temperatures that most would dread!! Especially our fabulous kitchen team.
It’s very busy, the checks keep coming
It’s hot, in fact it’s extremely hot…
It’s hard work and it’s been well over 40 degrees in the kitchen.

We are so grateful to them all. 🙏🙏

Please be understanding if they just need a moment to restock, get the chefs out the kitchen and give the team a break from the heat.
