​We wanted to take a moment to say a massive to every single person who steps through our doors or orders a meal from us. To us, you are not just customers — you are our guests, our neighbours, and part of our extended family. 🍷
​Having been serving the Airdrie community for over 10 years, we wanted to openly share a few honest thoughts from behind the scenes:
​🍳 100% FRESHLY COOKED TO ORDER
Every single pasta, pizza, and main dish — whether enjoyed in our restaurant, picked up for collection, or delivered to your door — is cooked 100% fresh to order. We have three dedicated chefs in our kitchen, each with 15 to 20+ years of professional culinary experience.
​Because our food is hand-crafted by human hands and cooked fresh from scratch in a pan, you might occasionally notice a subtle difference in seasoning or heat depending on which chef is at the stoves that day. That is the true mark of authentic, non-industrial Italian cooking! 👨‍🍳🔥
​🚗 THE REALITIES OF DELIVERY
All our takeaway orders are packed in specialized thermal insulated bags to keep them as hot as possible. However, on cold, windy Scottish days, delivery distance and transit time can naturally affect the temperature and texture of a dish (especially delicate creamy pasta sauces).
​❤️ WE ARE HUMAN & WE CARE
We always strive for perfection, but we are human. If something is ever not quite right with your meal, please reach out and speak to us directly! We will always do everything in our power to fix it for you on the spot.
​In today’s world, it is very easy to post a harsh review online without reaching out first. We completely understand that the cost-of-living crisis is affecting everyone. But please remember that behind IL CAPO, there are 10 to 15 local staff members and their families who pour their heart and soul into keeping this local business alive. Unfairly damaging a small local business affects real local lives.
