You ever look at social media and think how much it’s changed?

Every business seems to need the perfect photo, perfect wording, something new and exciting all the time and with AI being used everywhere it’s hard to compete against.

I use my own words and take my own photos but wonder if I should be doing more. Then i look at a simple plate of food. A slice a toast wae an omelette and think you know what? I actually love this.

Nothing fancy just decent food.

We’re just a wee local cafe making the food we know people love, trying our best every day.

Sometimes people don’t want the latest trend or something covered in hunners a toppings.

They just want a slice a toast wae an omelette.

And in all honesty I’m here for it 🥰🤎🍳🍞

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who supports Agnes’ Cafe 🥰🤎

Whether you’ve popped in for breakfast and had a wee blether, recommended us to someone or shared our posts, we appreciate every single bit of it.

We’ve been really busy lately which is amazing and in turn i need another pair of hands.

Looking for someone with previous waitressing experience to join our wee team.

You need to be confident using a coffee machine, preparing toasties and paninis, serving customers, taking orders and payments, clearing tables and keeping on top of the cleaning and general running of the cafe.

Most importantly you need to be friendly, reliable, hardworking and happy to get stuck in.

The hours are
Monday to Friday, 1 to 2 hours between 12pm and 2pm, depending on what the cafe needs that day.

Saturday 9am to 3pm.

Holiday cover will also be required.

Please only apply if you have the experience and can commit to the hours and days above.

When it comes to paying if you’ve got cash on you we’d really appreciate using it when you can, especially for payments under £5. It just helps us out a wee bit with the card fees. Card is still welcome, of course. Thanks again for the continued support and lovely comments on the page. Best wee customers 🤎🥰
