ANNOUNCEMENT
Mary & Martha’s will open again end of January. Date to follow ❤️
Good evening everyone. Today marks 14 weeks since my precious daughter Emma passed away. I would first like to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you who reached out with messages of condolence. I have been deeply touched and truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, kindness, and compassion shown to us. Please forgive me if I was unable to respond to everyone individually — there were so many messages, and it was difficult to keep track during such a painful time.
I have experienced personal loss before, but nothing could ever have prepared me for the loss of my daughter. It is the loneliest and emptiest place imaginable, filled with despair, unanswered questions, and an unending longing to see her face again, to hold her, to hear her voice, and to laugh with her. The reality that this will never happen again is utterly soul-destroying. Christmas only deepens the sorrow, as it was Emma’s favourite time of year. There will now be an empty seat at the table where she should be, and my heart feels completely broken.
To all of you who are spending this Christmas without a loved one and facing an empty chair, I pray that God will draw close to you, surround you with His presence, and grant you peace that surpasses all understanding. Even in the midst of such heartbreak, I pray that you may find moments of comfort and hope in the true meaning of this season — the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To all my wonderful customers, I wish you God’s richest blessings and a peaceful Christmas to you and your families.
Lots of love Donna ❤️
