It’s UK Small Business Week and we want to shout out one of our favourites — Fetch Walks & Wellbeing!🐾

While I’m here at the café and Sophie’s at work, Ross keeps an eye on Trashcan for us — and honestly, I think Trashcan is starting to like him more than us 😂 Can you blame him? Every day Ross shows up and takes him on a new adventure. Absolutely living his best life.

If you’ve got a dog who deserves the best walks in Lower Wharfedale, go check Ross out. Trusted, local, and clearly doing something right if Trashcan’s tail is anything to go by. 🐕

We’ve added a summer salad to sit alongside your toastie — baby leaf greens, sliced cucumber, plum tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Simple, fresh, and exactly what a sunny afternoon calls for.

Pop in Tuesday–Friday, 9–3. We’ll have the kettle on. ☕

A big thank you to Paul Redshaw for saving our bacon today — stepped in without a second thought while we we are short-staffed. Absolute gent. 🙏

Paul's also just written a book and honestly it's a cracking read — The Dale Slipperr . It's about a rare wild orchid that was secretly kept alive in the Yorkshire Dales for over 40 years by a local family while the rest of the world thought it was gone forever. The kind of story you couldn't make up.

What a weekend! 🌤️ We spent ours up on the moor with this one! Hope you all had a brilliant one too.

Seriously though, thank you. Every single one of you who's popped in, spread the word, or just said something kind since we took over Ginger Plum has made this whole thing feel really special. Addingham is a wonderful place to be and we're so glad to be here.
