🚨 YU Energy update… and honestly, you couldn’t make this up 😂
We’re currently being chased by YU Energy for nearly £20,000 that we absolutely do NOT owe.
To put that into perspective, around £10,000 of this bill is supposedly for just 28 days. 🤦♀️😂
There has clearly been a massive screw-up somewhere, but despite trying to get this resolved, they’re not willing to properly help or acknowledge that something has gone seriously wrong. Instead, we’re left dealing with the stress and hassle of a situation that should never have happened in the first place.
We’ve now had no choice but to take this further to the Energy Ombudsman. Unfortunately, this process can take weeks or even months, so it looks like we’ve got a bit of a wait ahead of us.
But one thing we want to make VERY clear… we are NOT giving up. ❤️
This is our business, our dream and something we’ve worked incredibly hard for, and we aren’t going to let this situation take that away from us that easily. 🙌
We’ve already got plans in motion for a temporary solution — moving into another unit in the Arndale. It’s a lot smaller, but it’s something, and it means we can keep things moving while we fight this.
Hopefully, in time, we’ll be able to get back into our old shop and carry on doing what we love. 🤞❤️
It’s been a bloody stressful time, but we’re determined to keep going. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, checked in on us and continues to believe in us — it genuinely means more than you know. 🥹❤️
