🌾 What a fantastic community effort! 🌾

Our Harvest Appeal has been a wonderful success, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, schools, community groups, volunteers and everyone who donated.

A special thank you to Tesco Accrington, Our Community Mattters, Asda Accrington, The Hollins - Lancs School, customers of Mr Gatty's Tea Room, and everyone connected with Community Solutions for their support. ❤️

We’d also like to thank Elaine, Bobbie, Gillian, David and Jean for coordinating everything on the day, and the Community Solutions Choir for their fantastic performance. 🎶

It was wonderful to be able to share the donations across The Food Pantry, Clayton Baptist Church and Union Road Church in Oswaldtwistle.

On Sunday, we hosted a special celebration for Tracy Simmonds and Acorn Community News, marking an incredible 15 years in business. 🥂

Guests enjoyed a lovely selection of homemade cakes and refreshments at Mr Gatty’s Tearoom, with plenty of time to catch up, celebrate and recognise 15 years of supporting the local community.

A Sunday well spent! 💙
