🚰 Important Update 💧

Due to the water main burst yesterday, our pub and restaurant areas suffered significant flooding throughout the entire ground floor and cellar yesterday evening.

We are currently assessing the damage while specialist cleaning, sanitisation, and restoration work is underway. Unfortunately, the flooding has caused extensive damage throughout the building, and major repair and refurbishment works will be required.

As a result, we will be closed until further notice while these works are carried out.

Customers with existing bookings have now been contacted, or we have attempted to contact them. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us via Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp on 01282 774444.

Please note that our landline is currently unavailable, and online bookings have been temporarily suspended.

We will keep you updated as we learn more and will let you know as soon as we’re able to reopen.

We’re absolutely gutted, but our priority now is getting everything repaired safely so we can welcome you back as soon as possible.

📢 Quiz Night Update 📢

In the interest of being fair to all of our regular quiz teams, we’d like to give you plenty of notice that this week’s Wednesday Quiz is cancelled due to the England match.

The last time the quiz clashed with an England game, we had a 50/50 split between quiz teams and football fans, and it proved difficult to do both justice at the same time.

With England’s huge semi-final taking place, we’ve decided to show the football instead, with the match live on our main screen in the bar. ⚽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Our weekly quiz returns as normal next Wednesday (22nd July).

If you’re joining us to cheer on England, we strongly recommend booking your table in advance, as seating in the bar area is limited.

🎉 GREAT NEWS! 🎉

After our gas main issue began on Thursday, we’re delighted to say it’s now been fully repaired! 🥳

We finally have mains gas flowing back into the building through brand new pipework, which means we’re back to serving our full menu! 🍽️

You might notice a few holes around the b**r garden and beyond, and some rather fetching orange covers dotted about… but they just add a splash of colour alongside our beautiful flower beds! 🤣🌼

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding over the last few days, and to everyone who continued to support us while we operated on a reduced menu. We really do appreciate it.

Now all that’s left to do is book your table for this Sunday or Monday evening and let us do the cooking!

We’re currently having unplanned essential work carried out on our gas mains supply, so we’ll be opening at 5:00pm this evening.

As we’re temporarily without gas to the kitchen while the work is completed (Thursday & Friday), we’ll be serving a slightly reduced menu during this time which you can view here: www.walton-arms.co.uk/copy-of-lunch-menu-img
