First of all, we'd like to sincerely apologise to all our customers for the time we've been closed and unable to fulfil your orders.
We'd like to give you a little explanation of what has happened and how it will affect our business moving forward.
One of the people behind Chillout, David, became seriously ill, and within a matter of hours, his condition became life-threatening. His breathing deteriorated to the point where he had to be transferred to resuscitation for emergency treatment.
As a result of his illness, along with complications following what we believe was inadequate care, David is now suffering from breathing difficulties, fatigue and frequent forgetfulness.
Despite these challenges, at his own request, we will be reopening shortly. Regardless of the barriers that have been thrown his way, David remains determined to commit himself to Chillout while taking his first steps on a journey to establish whether, and to what extent, his brain has been affected by a lack of oxygen.
Due to his ongoing therapies and upcoming assessments, we will now be open Thursday to Sunday every week. This will allow us more time away from the business to focus on his recovery, while still being able to provide the best possible service on the days we are open.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support during this difficult time.
