It was a busy one today.
We were later than usual to get in this morning so by the time 11am came round we weren’t prepared well so things were slower than they should be.
Here’s my treat at the end of the session. There’s loads more apples so I think I’ll make some more apple crumble.

Open from 11am -1:30pm ish today. It’s free to come play and we’ve affordable food options. This cappuccino is only £2.50! And we’ve toasties for £2.50 too!
Anyone can come for takeaway food and drink and the food share/waste scheme. As we’re a play cafe we may ask anyone without children to takeaway rather than sit in.

The 1st of this returning toddler session was this morning.
A lovely morning (although apples mostly did get eaten) and it’s now back monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10am.
Next session is 20th October.
Booking now open for October, November and December.

I’ve been waiting for this to come in stock since we got the barista machine! This is grown by women in a specific programme in Columbia that supports women. This is by women to help with education, support, and a good wage. The project does wonderful things for and by women. It fits right in with everything we do at The Doula Place and Snowdrop Doula Community Interest Company. Just had to have some of this.
It’s also a really nice tasting coffee. A smooth mellow flavour. We’ll have this in the grinder for trying as we’ve just ran out of the other beans. Please give your vote on it as we’ll buy more in. Exchange Coffee Company
