After so many fond memories, so many steaks than we care to count, we’ve decided it’s time to say goodbye to our 2 Steaks & W**e for £46 deal on a Thursday.

We know… its terrible news.

But before you start sending us sympathy messages, we’ve actually got something better coming.

From 1st October we will be doing
A new deal every thursday.
Flat iron steak, fries & sauce for just £15
And any draught pint or house medium w**e for just £4.50 😲
So basically… we’ve cancelled the old deal and just made it better value for you.

Served every Thursday.

Same steaks. Same kitchen. Just a little more madness from us.

So. We’re thinking beef Wellington Night at Britannia. Proper Lancashire beef fillet, wrapped, baked and served with all the good stuff.

Add a cocktail or a glass of fizz and make a Wednesday night feel a bit special.

Keeping it Local ❤️

Every time you choose to spend your money with a local independent business, you’re helping keep money moving around our local community.

At Britannia, we genuinely try to keep things local wherever we can. Our beef is reared less than 7 miles from the pub, then locally slaughtered and butchered, so we know exactly where it comes from.

We buy from local suppliers, work with local businesses and employ people from our area. It might seem like a small choice when you’re booking a table, ordering a pint or coming in for Sunday lunch, but collectively those choices make a massive difference to independent businesses.

No big chains. No shareholders. Just a local family run pub, local people and local suppliers trying to do things properly.

And to everyone who chooses to spend their hard-earned money with us. Thank you we appreciate it ❤️

We genuinely appreciate every booking, every pint, every meal and every recommendation.

🎅CHARITY EVENT🎅

We are working with East Lancashire Hospice and Britannia Tap + Grill to bring together a fabulous Christmas market for one and all to enjoy. There'll be something for everyone.

Shhhh, don't tell anyone... instead tell everyone!! Along with santas grotto, the brass band and choirs have been confirmed. This is truly starting to feel like Christmas!

It honestly feels like we blinked and summer disappeared! September is a great reminder to slow down a little, get the family together, catch up with friends and enjoy the simple things.

good food, good drinks and good company

And while you’re doing it, support local. When you spend with local pubs, restaurants, shops and farmers, more of that money stays within the local community, helping support local jobs, suppliers and producers.
