DRAYTON FESTIVAL! What a wonderful weekend ❤️🎶

Just a little recap of all the fun we had at D-FEST 2026… and what a turnout it was. 😆

From Friday night right through to Saturday, the pub and garden were absolutely full of music, food, families, friends, familiar faces and plenty of new ones too. Seeing so many people from the village and surrounding areas all together, enjoying themselves in our garden, is exactly what weekends like this are all about.

And maybe the further you scroll through these photos… the better it gets 📸

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who came down and supported us over the weekend, and an even bigger thank you to those of you who continue to support us throughout the year. It wouldn't be possible without you.

A Massive thanks to Jamie, Nigel, all of the musicians, everyone involved behind the scenes, the food vendors, the amazing staff. Lily, Lefty, Frankie, Livvy, Evie and Emma. All of the other incredible people, apologies to anyone I’ve forgotten to name, things got a little blurry by the end of the festival 🤣🥂

Days like these remind us just how lucky we are to have such a brilliant community around us. Thank you for filling the pub, filling the garden and making D-Fest another weekend to remember. 🎸🍻☀️

THE BANDS: Two days of live music featuring Osprey & co, Life underground, Cheap Petrol, Karvara, Hazy Rock, Superloose, BMW, Rudy & Bagpipes, Beard of Destiny, The Faith Healers, Adam Mathews, Steve Morris and Bomb

🎸🌻TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! D-FEST IS BACK AT THE RED LION DRAYTON!🌻🎸

Have YOU Spotted the Signs in the Village? 👀

Get ready for a whole weekend of LIVE MUSIC, great food, cold drinks and brilliant memories as Drayton Festival takes over our garden today from 6pm and tomorrow all day! 🎶🍻🎸

🎤 Tonight kicks off from 6PM with live bands taking us right through the evening, with Ospreys headlining at 10PM — and because it’s Friday, Fizz Friday is on too, so you can enjoy discounted Prosecco while soaking up the music! 🥂✨

☀️ Saturday is ALL DAY and packed full of live bands and entertainment, carrying on right through until Saturday night. The forecast is looking good for both days, but whatever the British weather decides to do, we’re prepared for it!🌦️

And you definitely won’t go hungry… 🍴 We’ll have a food van in the car park, plus Drayton Dosa Spices is joining us in the garden with their own food stall serving up delicious Indian food throughout the festival. 🌶️😋

⛱️Last year brought an amazing atmosphere to the garden and we can’t wait to do it all again. Bring your friends, grab a drink, find a spot in the garden and settle in for two days of proper live music, good people and great times.🌸🍻

A message from Marty Bowers,

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of our much-loved pub regulars and a true character who will be sorely missed.

He was music mad, with a song, an artist or a musical memory never far from his mind. Whether it was an old classic, a forgotten favourite or something that had just come on the jukebox, he always had something to say about it.

But perhaps most of all, he was a storyteller. He could turn an ordinary tale into an occasion, gathering people around him with his warmth, humour and unmistakable way of bringing every story to life. Whether you had heard the story once or a dozen times, somehow it was always worth hearing again.

He was more than a regular — he was part of the heart and soul of the pub. Where he stood may now be empty, but the memories, laughter, music and stories he leaves behind will remain.

He was a real character, a great friend to many, and someone who made the pub a better and livelier place simply by walking through the door.

Raise a glass, put on a good record, and tell a story or two in his honour.

He will be very fondly remembered and very sadly missed. Cheers, to Jack.

You will always be in the Heart of The Red Lion Jackie. 🥃
