A wonderful evening at Torfaen Voluntary Alliance awards!

What an incredible community we have filled with the most kind hearted, caring individuals.

When we first started we were building businesses.

But somewhere along the way, we realised we were building something much bigger than that.

We were building friendships. Memories. A place where people know each other’s names. A place where people look out for one another. A little part of a community that our son will grow up in and, we hope, one day be proud of too.

There have been hard days. Days where we have questioned ourselves, days where we have been exhausted, and days where keeping everything going has felt almost impossible.

And every single time, it has been this community that has reminded us why we started.

You have carried us just as much as we have tried to support you.

Our customers, our staff, our friends, our firefighters, our farmers, our fellow small businesses, and every person who makes this community what it is.

We love this community with all our hearts.

And as long as we are lucky enough to be part of it, we will keep showing up for it.

Thank you for believing in us, thank you for standing beside us, and thank you for allowing our little family to call this place home.

Here at La Cueva, a large part of our menu is already gluten-free.

✨ We use a separate fryer for our gluten-free products
✨ Many dishes are naturally GF
✨ Some of your favourites can also be specially prepared gluten-free and/or Dairy Free with a little notice

That even includes our delicious homemade croquetas, as well as the batter for our crispy aubergines and cauliflower 😍

If you’re booking with us and have any dietary requirements, simply let us know when you reserve your table. With a little pre-order notice, we can make sure you have plenty of delicious options to enjoy.

Wow… what an achievement for our little restaurant, especially after just 9 months of trading! ❤️

When we opened the doors to La Cueva, we had a vision of creating somewhere special — a little hidden gem filled with great food, Spanish soul, warm welcomes and plenty of good times. 🇪🇸🍷

To now be nominated for Business of the Year honestly means more to us than we can put into words.

A huge THANK YOU to whoever nominated us — we are incredibly grateful. 🥹❤️

✨ A little La Cueva update… ✨

La Cueva will be closed tomorrow for a private party 🥂

After an incredibly busy 8 months of creating our little dream right on our doorstep, welcoming so many wonderful people through our doors and watching La Cueva become everything we hoped it would be, we’ve decided to take next weekend off to recharge, regroup and get ready for the winter season ahead. ❤️

We’ll also be using the time to have some kitchen works completed, making a few improvements behind the scenes so we’re ready for an exciting few months ahead.

And we have lots to look forward to… 👀
