Good Morning Aberlour and Happy Friday!

As you may already know, we love books and are delighted to be stocking a beautiful new one from local author and storyteller, Nana Tomova.

About Nana:
Nana Tomova is a traditional oral storyteller based in Speyside, Scotland. She was born in Bulgaria where the Black Sea meets the Old Mountain and carries in her bones old tales of wise women and healing herbs; of golden maidens and winged serpents, stretching back to ancient Thracian times. Nana has told stories around the fire, and under the stars; in communities and women's circles; in forests and by the water’s edge. Her story walks have been featured in the Guardian and in Coast magazine. She is the author of Bulgarian Folk Tales.

Happy Friday Aberlour! We mostly managed to avoid melting this week 🫠 ☀️ 😆. It’s been a very quick week since our wine tasting and we are now restocked after initially selling out of the fab wines we tried on the night!

A huge thank you to all our guests on the night, Paul from Wine Importers Scotland and our brilliant Shirley Smith who masterminded it all. The honey mustard sausages were delicious Shirley! When can we have them again please???😂

Friday and Saturday cheesecake is Mascarpone and Passionfruit curd.

Sorry we have been a bit quiet lately, we are still here and glad to see some sunshine as we head into the weekend.
We have been planning away in the background, something exciting to help you all enjoy hopefully the lovely summer we have ahead of us 🥂🍾

Morning All,

We are excited today to have some very local rhubarb in. Grown and harvested in Aberlour by Thomas, aged 6 (nearly 7). Thomas is charging a very reasonable 4.50/kg. Please pop in and support this enterprising young man.
