πͺπ₯ 5-DAY MUSCLE-BUILDING MEAL PREP! π₯πͺ
Want to build muscle? Training hard is only part of the equation β you need to fuel your body properly too!
π PROTEIN IS KEY
Protein provides the amino acids your body needs to repair and build muscle after training. Aim for around 160β190g of protein per day as a starting point, depending on your body size, training and goals.
π DON'T FORGET THE CALORIES
Building muscle generally requires enough total energy to support growth. This plan combines quality protein with carbohydrates and healthy fats to give you the fuel you need for training and recovery.
π₯£ BREAKFAST
Protein oats, eggs, pancakes and overnight oats give you a strong protein-rich start to the day.
π± LUNCH
Chicken, tuna and beef-based meals provide plenty of protein while rice, pasta and sweet potatoes provide the carbohydrates needed to fuel your workouts.
π½οΈ DINNER
From beef chilli and turkey meatballs to chicken curry and salmon, you've got plenty of variety without eating the same meal every day.
π₯ SNACKS
Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, protein shakes, fruit, nuts and peanut butter make it easier to keep your protein and calorie intake up throughout the day.
ποΈ THE MUSCLE-BUILDING FORMULA
TRAIN HARD + EAT ENOUGH + GET ENOUGH PROTEIN + RECOVER = PROGRESS
Remember, consistency is what matters. You don't need a perfect diet every day β you need a plan you can stick to.
π If your body weight isn't increasing after a couple of weeks, gradually increase your daily calories by around 200β300 calories and keep monitoring your progress.
πͺ Prep your meals. Hit your protein. Train hard. Recover. Build.
