Xen and I would like to share an update about Café @ Number 16 and The View, Aberdour Golf Club.⛳️

Café @ Number 16 has now stepped away from its connection with The View. Iain McLellan will continue the franchise as the sole business owner.

Our sincere 🙏 thanks go to Jane, David, Fergus, Neal and Alex for their support in establishing the franchise. We’d also like to acknowledge 📣 Mark, whose work keeps the course looking fantastic, and Jack and Michael in the Pro Shop, who have been a pleasure to work alongside.

We wish The View team and Aberdour Golf Club every success moving forward. 🎉

Café @ Number 16 continues to be open for business and our team look forward to welcoming visitors and the local community as we head into a very busy summer. ☀️

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Café @ Number 16 has been nominated for two awards at the 2026 Scottish Independent Retail Awards:

Customer Experience of The Year and Retail Champions of the Year

These nominations mean so much because they reflect the heart of what we care about most - creating a welcoming space, serving great food, supporting local artists and retailers and looking after the people who walk through our door every day.

We were honoured to open our doors and cater for a private 3-course meal in celebration of a wonderful milestone birthday. 🎂

It was lovely to be part of such a memorable occasion, and we hope everyone enjoyed a fantastic evening filled with great food, laughter, and happy memories.
