A ‘soul food’ revival is taking place within the Southern United States at the moment, and the boys are bringing it to Aberdeen. They both have a huge passion for this style of cuisine, and hope you will too. Dishes will include southern fried chicken, smoked pulled pork, Cajun blackened salmon, and more. Exciting daily specials will let us all enjoy and learn about a style of cooking that focuses of texture, taste and succulence. Emphasis is made on marinating, smoking, curing, barbequing, and serving it up with a load of love and soul. The boys have spent months sourcing premium meats, cheeses and vegetables; in-fact every ingredient has been hand-picked, tasted, tried and tested, trying where possible to live by their motto: “field to fork, and made with soul”. No needs to wear a tie, bring the family, and have some fun.

What an amazing start to Aberdeen Restaurant Week! ❤️🔥 The restaurant is filling up, our soul food is flying out the kitchen and the cocktails from the bar.

Pictured is our New Orleans country chicken supreme; marinated in a tasty Southern style brine, pan seared and oven roasted. Served with creamy Southern gravy, collard greens with ham hock, jalapeño cheese cornbread, and creamy mash. Also, our frozen pineapple mojito.

Howdi folks 😊

We've cooked up some lovely St Louis style pork ribs for the weekend. Smoked low 'n' slow over fruit wood embers, and served with jalapeño cheese cornbread, Boston beans topped with crispy pork belly and fried onions, and a side of St Louis BBQ sauce.

Available today and tomorrow, or until sold out.

Hello lovely people!

We've had loads of enquiries about our £10 lunch offering during Aberdeen Restaurant Week, so here is our menu for you to enjoy.

For just £10, you can choose from some tasty, freshly cooked dishes including fish tacos, buffalo chicken tacos, chicken parm loaded crinkle cut fries, and of course, our 7 cheese mac 'n' cheese.

The £10 lunch menu is available from 12 noon to 4pm Tuesday to Friday. FYI, the £10 lunch menu is a permanent fixture, and has been since it's success after the last Aberdeen Restaurant Week.

The kitchen has had a great time cooking up some proper Southern soul food today!

'Surf 'n' turf' with Hoppin' John:

Melt in your mouth c***r braised Scottish pork belly with a South Carolina BBQ sauce (sweet mustard and apple flavour profile). Served with bikini king prawns and Hoppin' John (a Southern specialy of rice 'n' beans stew).
