Sinkhole update!

She’s still here and traffic diversions remain in place… we’ve exchanged coffee for information and it sounds like the road is going to be back open again Saturday-Sunday all going well 🙌
•
The roads are much quieter in the surrounding area than they were at the start of the diversion so please do come and visit us - we are open as normal!

Emergency repairs on Market Street ‼️
•
Market street is currently closed NORTHBOUND from North Esplanade West to Palmerston Road. North Esplanade West is also closed EASTBOUND from Palmerston Place to Market Street (Red arrows on map)
•
If you need to get to us by car our suggested route (green arrows) is southbound down Market Street and heading west along North Esplanade West. Turning right onto Raik Road, then right onto Poynernook Road (the one way restriction has been lifted)
•
The orange arrow route is open but busy (South College Street / Palmerston Road). Riverside Drive also very busy - would advise avoiding coming in along the river.
•
Just been out for a wee walk round at the moment and everything is moving well other than Palmerston Road route joining back onto Market Street. If you’re being dropped off we’d recommend being dropped on the other side of market street from us and crossing on foot.

We’re very much OPEN as normal and looking forward to welcoming everyone over the weekend 🫶
