This evening, Alba Bagpiper Rikki and Alba Bagpipes Highland Dancer Dionne delivered one of our travel and tourism experiences to a group of 44 Norwegians at 210 Bistro.

They experienced:
• A live piping and Highland dancing performance

• An explanation of Highland dancing and its history

• An explanation of the Highland bagpipes and a demonstration of how the instrument works

• Audience participation, including trying the Gay Gordons and getting hands-on with a practice chanter, where they were shown finger placement and even had the opportunity to blow into a full set of bagpipes

• Finally, a photo opportunity where guests could hold a set of bagpipes and take pictures alongside our piper and Highland dancer

These experiences are perfect for small or large groups visiting Scotland, giving them a fantastic insight into Scottish culture.

Such a cool concept; you book your ticket without knowing the venue or menu. The venue is revealed at 10am on the day by email and the menu is only given out at the dinner 👀
