Back from Ecuador 🇪🇨

La Joya Sidra is here again, another fantastic coffee from Ecuador, produced by Javier Castro at his one hectare farm in the Chocó Andino.

Javier has only been growing coffee at La Joya for around six years, focusing entirely on Sidra. It’s a challenging place to produce coffee, with high humidity and heavy rainfall making consistency difficult, but the quality coming from this small farm continues to impress us.

This washed Sidra is bright, layered and constantly changing in the cup, with juicy tangerine and rhubarb when hot, moving towards blackcurrant and sweet sticky toffee as it cools.

A beautiful coffee from a young farm we’re delighted to be working with again.

Last chance!

It looks like Scottish strawberry season is finally over, the team have made the last batch of compote and today will probably be your last chance to try our amazing Scottish Strawberry French Toast.

The Figment Pumpkin Spice Latte is back!

As the temperature drops and the leaves start to change colour the signs are all here to get this back on the menu, and you have been asking.

So go and grab your first of the season at Figment and The Wichery by Figment this week. Our house made syrup contains real pumpkin and is infused with fresh autumnal spices and pairs beautifully with our Wonderland espresso to create this delicious, warming classic.

Lemon to a Knife Fight - The Coffee will have been arriving at homes all over the world over the past few days and we can’t wait for you to enjoy it.

We just wanted to say though that there is no rush to get this bag open or to use it up immediately. You will find that if you leave this coffee to rest it will actually open up with even more vibrancy over the coming weeks.

We actually had planned to do a lot more social media for this coffee but when it sold it in like 3 hours we just didn’t get the chance!

One thing, however, I do want to highlight is the amazing artwork by Catriona Clarke who we have worked with really since the inception of our ‘winged things’ concept for the roastery. Cat created a brilliant image that really captured our collaboration using the mascot for The Wombats in our Figment style. I saw someone on socials call it a flutterbat, I’m definitely stealing that 😊.

And finally we would love to see images of our coffee in your homes or at your location so please snap a photo and tag us and the band and if you enjoy this coffee please take a look at our site and we would love to send you something else delicious over the next few months.

It’s on its way!

For those of you lucky enough to have grabbed one of the bags of Lemon to a Knife Fight, they have been roasted, packed and are now winging their way to you!

This has been an amazing experience for us and the band have been so generous with their time and made it a truly collaborative process. We can’t thank them enough for saying yes!

We also can’t wait for you guys to try the lemons of our labours.

We just hope it doesn’t get Lost in the Post🤣

Thank you to everyone who has gone online and purchased a bag today. We literally had no idea how this was going to go but sold out in the first few hours was not it 🙏.
