The Coffee Bar in Torry is a community café with the aim to provide nutritional, affordable food to our local community and a space for them to meet and access support.

Helloooo my lovelies xx
This week's homemade soups are Wednesday....creamy chicken 🐔 and leek.
Thursday....lentil
Friday....Thai butternut squash and coconut 🥥
We have a lovely summer fruit cheesecake and a homemade Victoria sponge in the chiller and our usual goodies in the cake cabinet including a Snickers cookie pie 🥧 😋 Our Soaring Seniors are on Wednesday at 11a.m and our Bumps and Babies on Thursday morning at 10.30 xxrichard will be leading the community walk on Friday at 10.30 and our lovely Annick will be here on Friday too. Our wonderful ukulele session will also be running this Friday at 11.15!😃👶👶👵👴🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🎨🎼🎵🎸 We're open Wednesday to Friday between 10am and 2.30 but don't forget we close the kitchen at 2pm to clean down xx 😉 😘

Thursday......cream of tomato 🍅

Our Emelie has made a fabulous tiramisu cheesecake and its sitting in the chiller with a homemade carrot 🥕 cake and a fully loaded Nutella and Bueno cookie pie 🥧 😋 We'll also have a few banoffee tarts and fresh cream apple 🍎 turnovers this week too.......maybe a few homemade cinnamon rolls on Thursday if I get the time !Wednesday , we have our wonderful Soaring Seniors from 11 and Thursday, pur lovely Bumps and Babies 👶 are here from 10.30. Annick is here on Friday with her watercolour sessions and our Richard will be leading the way with our community walk at 10.30 on Friday. Theres something for everyone this week so why not pop in and say Hi Wednesday to Friday between 10am and 2.30 but don't forget we close the kitchen at 2pm to clean down xx

We're back, refreshed and rearing to go 🫶🦹‍♂️💪💃😆
This week's homemade soups are Wednesday.....lentil
Thursday......vegetable broth and Friday we have creamy chicken and leek. Our toasted wrap of the week is bbq pulled pork served with homemade coleslaw as well as our breakfast wrap. We have our raspberry white chocolate cheesecake in the chiller with a few fresh cream trifles xx 😋 😍 I've been playing today so we have a couple of new sweet treats to offer this week including Snickers cookie pies from Thursday, chocolate chip banana cake and hands up who can remember "Cabana Bars" from their childhood? Yes, I've made some homemade ones, so do let me know what you think! Our Soaring Seniors are on Wednesday at 11am and our wonderful Bumps and Babies group on Thursday at 10.30 to 12.30. Our Annick is away this week but we still have Richard leading the way for our community walk at 10am. Come along and say hi Wednesday to Friday between 10am and 2.30 but don't forget we close the kitchen at 2pm to clean down xx

Just a gentle reminder that our wee coffee shop will be closed this week!
We're all having a few days off to recharge before the children go back to school next week!
We'll be rearing to go next Wednesday 19th August so hopefully see you then x

Helloooo my lovelies!! It's King's Church Torry fun day today!
There will be a bbq, inflatables, face painting and so much more at Greyhope school in Torry from 12 to 2pm today! Come along and say hi 👋 xx
Our Church at Bridge of Don also has an event today including free boys haircuts, and school uniform help for primary school children 😀 xx

Just a wee update to say that our lovely Annick isn't here tomorrow as she's off on a girl's trip!

Next wee our lovely coffee shop will be shut for the week for our summer holiday 😀 Our Kim, Donna and the rest of the awesome volunteer team will be refreshed and rearing to go the following Wednesday (19th August) x

We have a couple of lovely fresh cream strawberry cheesecakes and our banana 🍌 cake with peanut butter frosting in the chiller and a selection of calorie free 😋 🤥🫣goodies in the cake cabinet! We have our bbq meatball toasted wraps on this week as well as our breakfast wrap 😋 Our super soaring seniors are having a lovely trip to King's Church on friday for afternoon tea so a day off on Wednesday for them! Bumps and Babies 👶 are on Thursday morning from 10.30 too.Our community walk is on Friday morning when lovely Richard will lead the group leaving at 10.30 am and our Annick is here with her free watercolour sessions all day Friday. Why not pop along Wednesday to Friday between 10am and 2.30 but don't forget we close the kitchen at 2pm to clean down xx

Today we celebrate our amazing Kim!
A lady who was instrumental in the birth of the coffee shop from 3rd Feb 2023. She has a huge heart and loves on and serves every person that comes through our doors😍🥰She loves and cares for everyone she meets ❤️ Kim, we love and appreciate all you do and the heart you have for your community ❤️ Have a wonderful birthday! Xx
