August 20th is one of Hungary’s most important national holidays. On this day, we honour Saint Stephen, the founder of the Hungarian state, and celebrate the foundation of Hungary.

One of the traditional symbols of the celebration is the new bread, representing the harvest of the new wheat and the gift of life. Across the country, the day is marked with celebrations, concerts, Hungarian flags and, in the evening, spectacular fireworks.

Unfortunately, on our way home from our summer holiday, our flight was cancelled, and we are currently stranded in London. As a result, we have to postpone the reopening of the restaurant by one day. We will now reopen on Friday, 26 June, at 12:00 noon.
