The Nargile Restaurant on Skene Street is now under new management and the restaurant will be called Sofra.
The Nargile staff will continue to work at the Sofra Restaurant on Skene Street and their cuisine is still Turkish/Mediterranean.
They don’t have a drinks licence as yet, but they will soon, so you can BYOB meantime.
Any Nargile Restaurant Vouchers can be used at the Sofra Restaurant on Skene Street until the 31st of December 2025.

Good afternoon,

We would like to let you know that we are moving on from the Nargile Restaurant on Skene Street and we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all the lovely customers who have visited us over the years, many whom have become our very dear friends.
We will miss these interactions and getting to know small pieces about your lives-It has been an honour and a privilege.
We would also like to thank our amazing staff, past and present for their hard work and dedication-We will miss you all.
We have many happy memories of our time working at the Nargile, too many to mention and so to all our customers,staff and the companies we have worked with over the years we send you all the very best of wishes.

All the staff at the Nargile are so grateful to have been chosen as one of the finalist in the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards 2025-as voted by the public.
We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to vote for us.
