Monday is here again!🥰

💜After the weekend we are open again at 10am for all of your geeky needs🤓 We will be running casual Digimon games from 12pm - 5pm ahead of our Monday night locals, this is a free event, just show up with your decks and play some games! 3pm - 6pm we have a slot specifically for board games, we have a large selection in store so come along and play something you love or find something new😁 It's £6 to come and play and includes a free hot or cold drink👍

6pm very quickly comes around and our Monday nights begin🤩
💛From 6-9pm, we hold our Digimon locals! Always full of laughs and competition- our Digimon community are a lot of fun😄 Locals are £8 for entry and include prize structure👍

💜Also from 6-9pm we have…. MORE D&D😍 There honestly aren’t enough days in the week for all of the D&D sessions we wish we could have.. £7 entry as always including a free drink🥤 Enquire with us to join an epic adventure!🤩

What's on in store today?

💜 We open at 10am and it's the perfect time to pop in and grab a morning coffee! Also check out our menu in store for something delicious for your breakfast or lunch🍽

💛 Star Wars Unlimited locals run from 5pm-8pm💥 £8 entry to come and play and includes prizing!
💜D&D Learn to Play sessions run from 1pm-5pm each week and are £7 entry including a free drink! Similar to our regular D&D sessions - booking is essential as Learn to Plays are very popular!🤩
💛D&D sessions will also be running 5pm-8pm alongside everything, but don't worry, we have plenty of space downstairs in our tavern area for your adventures! £7 entry including a free drink as always - booking essential!⚔️

Closure 2nd of January

Hi everyone we have some important news

Due to circumstances Geek Retreat aberdeen will be closing its doors permanently on the 2nd of January 2026

We want to thank everyone one from our community for your support and we wish you all the best in the future, this is a hard time for everyone the staff included so we ask that we bare this is mind when talking to them. We are truly grateful and proud of the communities we have built and the friendships we have made.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to our store, from our dedicated regulars, gaming every week (some nearly every day), to those who popped in just to grab a coffee and a chat with our staff about what ever nerdy thing we were geeking out about that day. You will all be missed.

A few key points to note

If you have any pre-orders to collect please make sure these are collected by the 30th of December as anything left in the store after the 11:59pm on the 1st of January will no longer be able to collect.

Due to all the delay of pokemon all pokemon moltress upcs will be refunded and we need you all to arrange your refund before the 29th as we will not beable to process anything after this date

Our last day open to the public will be the 30th of December and the last day to collect pre-orders will be the this day also

We understand everyone will have questions and while we will try our best to answer them there some things we cannot disclose.

Again thank you from everyone here at Geek Retreat and please come in and see us up to the last day have a great Christmas everyone and a very happy new year

It's Tuesday and here's our schedule today..

💛 Opening at 10am, it's the perfect time to pop in and grab a coffee or something to eat from our café! We will be running casual Pokemon games from 12pm - 5pm ahead of our Tuesday night locals, this is a free event, just show up with your decks and play some games🥳 3pm - 6pm we have a fun new event for MTG Commander players - Commander Spin the Wheel! £5.50 entry including a booster pack and the winner will spin the wheel to win a promo😁 We'll be running this twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays👍

⏩Fast forward to evening time⏭️
💜 Our Pokemon locals and collectors take over from 6-9pm! £6 entry for some fun and friendly competition and packs are included in the price😄 Once per month our Pokemon League Challenge takes the place of our Tuesday night locals, where you play in a small entry level tournament to win points towards earning an invitation to world championships!😱
💛 D&D takes over our Tavern area (downstairs) on a Tuesday evening from 6-9pm🗡️ As always enquire online or in person about whether you want to book a table to play with a group and your own DM, or want to join a waiting list for a campaign with one of our DMs🤩 £7 per person (no table fee) which includes a free drink☕️
