It’s lovely to see the coffee shop so busy this morning ☕️ We’ve lots of variety on our menu, lots of space to walk around, with lots to see and do in the church itself. We’ve also a FREE children’s play corner 🧸 an outdoor sun patio ☀️ and we’re also dog friendly 🐶 Pop in and pay us a visit at Spires Coffee Shop in St Elvan's, Aberdare town centre. Despite the heat, this evening's FREE WAM (Words Art Music) Night Special - "Voices from Palestine & Wales" will be going ahead, here at St Elvan's

Given the temperatures, the event will now take place in the main nave and features our guests from Palestine plus the wonderful Highly Strung String Band

Thank you Pen y Cymoedd Community Fund for all your incredible support of St Elvan's and Spires Coffee Shop ❤️

The continued support of Pen Y Cymoedd has enabled the St Elvan’s Community Heritage Trust to retain existing staffing and to employ our new Catering Manager Louise, who has already enhanced the coffee shop offer, and is now working on new catering options for group visits, dinner and banquets, and diversifying our food offer for younger visitors
