💚 Macmillan Coffee Morning – Friday 25th September 💚
Some of our wonderful staff members have organised a Macmillan Coffee Morning for a cause that is very close to their hearts, and we’d love your support.
We’re asking our lovely community to pop in, enjoy some cake, have a cuppa and help us raise as much as we can for Macmillan Cancer Support. 🍰☕️
We’re so lucky to have such a fantastic community here, and we’ve seen time and time again how everyone comes together to support a good cause. So, let’s come together again this Friday 25th September and make a difference. 💚
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help.

We look forward to seeing you 💚

We are open for both bar and kitchen today 🥳😁

Just to clear things up ❤️
Yes, we closed today, and yes, we know that wasn’t good for business. But sometimes health has to come first.
Alex (the owner and head chef) is unwell, and after what happened last time we absolutely do not want to risk getting to that point again. His health and wellbeing have to come before anything else.
Had we opened today, the kitchen would have had to remain closed anyway, as Alex simply isn’t well enough to work and our other chef is currently away on annual leave. It wasn’t a decision we took lightly, and it certainly wasn’t one we wanted to make.
We put absolutely everything into this place. Closing, especially at short notice, is the last thing we want to do. We know it affects our customers, our staff and our business, and we never take that lightly. But sometimes things happen that are simply completely out of our control.
We’re a small business run by real people, and sometimes life and health have to take priority.
To everyone who understood, sent us lovely messages and wished Alex well — thank you so much. ❤️
We’ll always do our best for our customers and our business, but sometimes we just need a little understanding too. ❤️

Open tomorrow from 12 serving full menu. All welcome and you’ll have 10% off main meals all day.

Please read some tickets left for tonight!
All in aid of mental health & raising awareness and funds. Even if it can help one person then it’s worth it. Call 01685 481653 or pop in to get a ticket. Thanks to those who’s shown support.

A long one but please read as we will be shut to public Saturday from 7pm!!!
❤️ SOMEONE YOU KNOW MIGHT BE STRUGGLING IN SILENCE. ❤️
The person laughing beside you.
The mate who always says, “I’m fine.”
The person who seems to have it all together.
You just never truly know what someone is carrying.
That’s why, for one evening The Rhos is handing over our pub to charity to raise awareness and funds for The Megan Mai Foundation & Big Moose — two incredible causes helping people who desperately need support and seriously ill children.
Mental health means so much to us. Myself, Alex and the Rhos team will always be here to listen, without judgement, and help however we possibly can.
“Charity isn’t just about giving money. It’s about showing up. It’s about caring. It’s about reminding someone that they matter and that they don’t have to face their darkest days alone.”
🎟️ Anyone can attend — you just need a ticket. Every penny raised goes to the charities.
If you’re struggling, please talk to someone.
If you’re worried about a mate, check in.
And if someone reaches out, listen.
You never know when a simple “Are you okay?” might change someone’s life. ❤️
If you’d like information, tickets or to make a donation, drop us a message.
Please. Don’t struggle alone.
