Porcini Orzotto 🍝🍄‍🟫
New on the menu and already a firm favourite! A bowl of orzo pasta in a spinach and porcini cream, cooked risotto-style and topped with buttery, griddled mushrooms 😍

Sara had the very difficult job of testing it after taking the photos… purely for quality control, of course 😂
But she can confirm, it's absolutely incredible! 😁

Definitely one to try while it's here!

We're back on Friday 25th September, and Maz has been busy putting together a brand-new tapas menu, with lots of new dishes alongside some favourites!

Doors open from 6pm, and you can book a table in advance or just pop in on the night, grab a drink and settle in for an evening of good food and plenty of tapas 🍹

We are absolutely over the moon to share that Cherries has once again been named a FINALIST for Café/Tearoom of the Year at the Dorset Tourism Awards! 🏆

After proudly bringing home Bronze last year, finding ourselves back in the final three for a second year running feels incredibly special.

And what a year it's been! We've welcomed so many familiar and new faces, seen our Tapas Nights become a firm favourite, supported some wonderful local causes through our Community Breakfast Club, welcomed local food traders for our Street Food Nights, hosted events big and small and continued to grow Cherries into the colourful, welcoming place we all love 🍒

None of it would be possible without our brilliant team. The care, hard work and personality they bring to Cherries every day is what makes this place what it is, and this recognition belongs to every one of them ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who visits, recommends and supports us, and to Abbey Farm and the wider Abbotsbury community for always being behind us. You're all a huge part of what makes Cherries so special 🍒💙

We'll find out on 22nd October whether we'll be adding Bronze, Silver or perhaps even Gold to the collection 🥂✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us over the Bank Holiday weekend and helped make this year's Abbey Farm Summer Fair such a special one. Whether you came to shop, eat, explore, listen to the music, get creative or simply enjoy Abbey Farm, it was wonderful to see so many of you here ❤️

A massive thank you to all of our brilliant and talented traders and exhibitors — and especially for braving the wind and unpredictable British summer weather with us! Your beautiful stalls, creativity and good spirits brought the whole fair to life.

Thank you to our incredible musicians who kept us entertained throughout the weekend — Emily Jean, Olly Howard, The Decadettes and Portesham Ukulele Band. You were all absolutely brilliant!

And, of course, a huge thank you to the café team at Cherries for all the hard work behind the scenes, helping get the event off the ground and keeping everything running throughout the weekend.

One of my favourite little additions this year was our guestbook banner, which I had such a great time making with Adam and Keara! 🖊️ Thank you to everyone who stopped to sign it, leave us a message or add a little doodle — it’s such a lovely reminder of the weekend and everyone who shared it with us.

And we absolutely loved seeing all the incredible decorated pebbles appearing throughout the fair! 🎨 From our youngest visitors to the young at heart, there was some serious creativity on display. Thank you to everyone who sat down, picked up a pen and got involved!

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who came through the gates and supported our traders, musicians and the independent businesses here at Abbey Farm. We hope you had as much fun as we did.

🎄 Next up... the BIG Abbey Farm Christmas Fair! 🎄

Save the dates: Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th November 2026. We already can't wait to welcome you back for a magical festive weekend at Abbey Farm! ✨
