Always nice to be appreciated.

Anita was a fantastic host. The cottage and location were quite an experience.
You get an authentic feel of what it's like to live there. The village itself has lots of character with cobbled streets, amazing views and friendly locals. You are ideally located next to hikes, the beach and surrounding towns. Anita made sure to show us where to park and answer any questions and kindly left some refreshments. She even gave us some fruit and vegetables from her garden! The cottage was perfect for 2 people with everything you'd need.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique experience.

Well Summer has come and should have gone but it is hanging on. Temperatures still around 27 and swimming is gorgeous. No crowds on the beach, the sea is calm and oh those beautiful colours!
We have been through drought, only one rain storm in months and the last pestilence, a sand storm from the Sahara. The sand covered everything and has a sticky substance. So we are still awaiting a really good thunder and lightning 'tempete'
to clean and refresh everything.
Vegetables were almost non existent, fruit was small and so sweet, and curiously enough after the sand storm the plants put on a growth spurt and now the roses, salvias, sedums are putting on a tremendous show. Nature has a way of rebalancing the destructive forces.
I am amazed that bookings are already coming in for next year so if you are thinking of visiting (especially in the high season) it would be wise to book early.
A big thank you to all who came and shared this magical area this year.

This is how we build and repair in the Alps Maritimes! The 10th century chateau that overlooks the village is undergoing a restoration project.
