First batch of galette batter made for today - this shows the step by step process involved.

Through trial of options recently I discovered that a slotted spoon 🥄 is the ideal way to mix batter, massively more efficient than a plain spoon or a whisk. But it needs to be slots, not holes!

An ice cream kind of day - this crêpe had orange marmalade and chocolate inside.

A whole week of crêpes and galettes this week near Cirencester.

As well as our usual toppings we've got daily specials to ensure variety - today it's sausage egg and mustard with optional cheese for meat eaters and a Provencal with courgette, aubergine, pepper and tomato for vegans and vegetarians.

Quick trip to Brittany and of course our first stop was a crêperie for lunch.

Love the was they use a galette to hold the salad at La Flambee in Dol de Bretagne - I need to try doing that!

What a fantastic weekend, lots of incredibly talented musicians on stage both days, great crowds of people and a massive thank you to everyone who bought crepes from us - especially those who queued patiently on Sunday evening when we were massively busy.

See you all again in 2027!

Eleven years ago today Andy entered the 'largest crêpe in the world' competition at Fete de la Crêpe in Gourin, Brittany.

Quite a decent attempt at 74cm - having now had a lot more practice he could probably do better now but can't be there because of making crêpes Farmer Copleys FarmTrax music festival this weekend.

Day 2 of and the weather is very changeable - sunny with cloud and lots of wind. Our gazebo is standing up well so far though!

Lots of great acts today to follow on from a fantastic first day, really looking forward to the day.

We are set up with our savoury and sweet crêpes, lots of great toppings including strawberries freshly picked on the farm here this morning.

It's a really nice day here - the sun is shining but there's a bit of a breeze so it feels great.

A full weekend of country music with a mix of original and tribute acts. Last year was great so really looking forward to this.

We've got all our usual savoury and sweet toppings and will be picking fresh strawberries from Farmer Copleys in the morning.
