And here we go, we’re counting another summer break in the books, can’t believe it has already been 9 years (and now counting another partner in crime in this adventure 🐣) !

We want to thank every single one of you who came to the café, because you all are part of this adventure, we wouldn’t be here without you so thank you to all of our clients, family, friends and staff members, current and passed, who made this adventure possible.

Forever grateful to be able to live this journey !

Still a few days left on this summer break, and we’ll be back on Wednesday September 3rd to open the doors of Léandrés for another round of fun with good coffee and yummy homemade food ✨☕️🍪🥟✨

8 YEARS OF LÉANDRÉS ☕️💛🥟🌿🍪

This month of June marks the 8th anniversary of Léandrés ! 🥹
We have been through so many adventures and we thank everyone who has been a part of this journey and everyone who is still making this adventure possible !
Every year we celebrate is special but this year is *extra* special as we have a little surprise on the way … baby Léandrés, the new mascot ! 🙉
We can’t wait to share our journey with this new team member, arriving soon, and see where life takes us !
In the meantime, you can count on the team to always take care of you, with the best energy and big smiles when you cross the doors of Léandrés ! 🙏🌟💛

FRESH & RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU ! 🌊☕️⛵️

We don’t take enough time to tell you but we are very careful selecting our coffee beans. All of our beans are single origin - from Colombia - and we have a range of 6 coffees coming from different farms and region in Colombia. Some of our beans arrived to us by sail, we are so happy to participate in a better way to consume, and share it with you so you can be part of it too.
We roast our beans in Paris, every two weeks, to keep it as fresh as possible. You can taste our coffee at the shop or in and grab a bag of whole beans or grounded (with the right grind, according to your machine).
Some of our beans are also available for professionals if you want to drink our coffee at work for example ? 🥰

DREAM TEAM ✨⭐️✨

And just like that, another year has been completed at the coffeeshop ☕️
This one is special one because Léandrés just turned 7, and it’s Andres’ lucky number🤞
And yes we are lucky indeed, to be surrounded by such a great group of humans, many thanks to Kathé, Dylan, Ariel, Sthefany and Romi who help make everyday (and also those who helped us over the years) at the shop possible because without this team, the coffeeshop couldn’t run and receive all of you.

Now, it’s the time of the year when we all need to reload and rebalance our energy while discovering new parts of the world, time to meditate about life and how can evolve being better people everyday, and spend time with family & friends ☀️

We will be posting a few stories here on Instagram about our trip, this year we picked Viêt-nam, Laos & Cambodia, we are very excited to discover new cultures and share some of it with you 🐲🍜🧧🍚

We will see you back in September for more adventures and laughs together at Léandrés, wishing you a great summer in the meantime🌻

NEW CUPS IN TO REDUCE WASTE TOGETHER 🌿

Life happens and sometimes we don’t have time to sit down, that’s why we have new reusable cups available to purchase !

cups are made with 40% of dry ground coffee and other natural components - including wood fiber to give this new nutmeg color - to obtain coffee pressed granulated and turn them into new reusable cups ☕️

These new cups come with an extra fully sealable lid, to make it easier to transport.

VIVE LA NATURE 🌻

Cela faisait 5 ans que l’on avait obtenu un permis de végétaliser. 5 années de petits sourires de voisins, de passants, de clients … Grâce à ce petit bout de nature, dans une rue très dense et bétonnée.

C’était 5 belles années, jusqu’à ce que l’on reçoive un e-mail nous indiquant que notre permis avait été abrogé.

La mairie de Paris et la mairie du 9 ème arrondissement ont décidé d’harmoniser les grands axes de , dont la rue de Maubeuge.

Quand on lit « harmoniser », on se dit chouette ! Est-ce que tous les pieds d’arbre seront végétalisés ? En fait non, on comprend que les travaux d’harmonisation consisteront à abroger les permis de végétalisation dans la rue afin de remettre des grilles aux pieds des arbres.

À qui de nettoyer les déchets qui vont s’y installer ? Certainement pas à la ville de Paris - on l’a vécu pendant 2 ans - tous les matins, à nous de nettoyer les défécations animales et les ordures laissées à l’abandon …

Les travaux de voirie devraient avoir lieu à la mi-mai, peut-être que l’on se réveillera un doux matin de printemps avec la merveilleuse surprise de parterres de verdure descendant toute la depuis la jusqu’à ?
